I am a photographer and a social worker based in Israel. My camera is my way of exploring and documenting the complex, ever-changing fabric of Israeli reality. From the quiet dynamics of the streets and the layers of our social landscape to the raw, challenging moments of war, my work focuses on the human stories that unfold within them.

People often ask me why I take photos, or what I plan to do with them. It always reminds me of the famous line spoken by the character of the Joker in the film Batman: "I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it."

That is often exactly how I feel when I shoot. Something catches my eye- it could be interesting, beautiful, heartbreaking, funny, or deeply nostalgic. It ranges from completely random moments to things filled with profound meaning. Ultimately, I capture a moment simply because it caught my attention. Once it’s captured, I leave it to each individual viewer to take from it whatever they want. That is what guides me.
